Irish Cup Silver Medalists!!!
Jr. Mustangs invaded South Bend, Indiana and came away with the Silver medal!!
Battling strong teams from the US they made it into the finals. And what a final!! They tied it up with under 5 minutes left. Went into a 4 on 4 overtime and the game had to go into sudden death shoot out. After 8 rounds the Chicago leafs edged out the Mustangs. Congrats to the boys for a great weekend of hockey.
Highlights of the weekend included attending the University of Notre Dame game versus Minnesota on the Friday night (which the Irish won in the final minutes of the game), the special arena/ dressing tour and meeting Coach Jackson of the Fighting Irish. Not to mention riding to and from South Bend on the tour bus!
