Mustangs Complete Their Hat Trick
The Minor Peewee Jr Mustangs White team won their third tournament of the season yesterday by taking the final of the Byron Optimist West London Tournament with a 3-2 victory over the Cambridge Hawks.
The team entered the final with an undefeated record while out scoring their opponents 22-6 after wins against Sarnia, Goulding Park, Humber Valley, and a draw against Cambridge. The Mustangs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the championship game and then held on to salvage the one goal victory.
The coaches were impressed with their hard work, determination, and solid team play throughout the tournament.
