We are extremely happy to announce the new partnership between the GLHA and Western Hockey. Wednesday April 16th is a day that changed the landscape of minor hockey in the city of London and in particular the GLHA. What great opportunities we have been afforded by this new long term agreement.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Theresa Quigley Western Director of Sport and Recreation services for her complete and total commitment to making this partnership work for both the GLHA and Western. Her staff particularly Jason Young and Sean Wheatley who have worked tirelessly to help us meet our needs. All of your GLHA Presidents, Kevin Bergeron , Kevin Routley , Michelle Foote , Jack Boyce , Frank Cooke have seen unprecedented cooperation in our efforts to facilitate this new program.
The opportunities are endless, We have been afforded the privilege of tapping into the professional resources at Western. With planned activities for the players and coaches and a open relationship with both the Men's and Women's hockey teams will undoubtedly benefit our program. This truly is a partnership and solidifies Westerns commitment to community involvement.
We can't say enough and look forward to the months and years ahead. Who wouldn't want to be a Mustang?
