Congratulations to the JR. Mustangs U14 Purple Team for winning their division in the Peggy Hill Classic this past weekend in Barrie Ontario.
To solidify their spot in the finals - the team had to compete in a very exciting game against the Stratford Warriors team. The team advanced after winning in a very exciting sudden death overtime period.
Unfortunately, losing two of our key defenseman in the preliminary rounds, the team had to be extremely focused in the final game. The team secured a 6 to 1 win over Quinte Wests Hawks to take the Championship.
