Tryouts are just around the corner!
My name is Mark Wells and I am this years head coach. Please do not forget, as Minor Bantam's this year, you must attend the mandatory checking clinic before you can tryout!
Note: Players that are being released from the JLK tryouts, that have completed their checking clinic, do not need to attend the Mustang checking clinic on Monday. Also, if you plan on coming to the Mustang's tryouts, please register ASAP, if you have not already done so. We need to update our numbers to prepare for additional ice times, if necessary.
Goalies, the checking clinic is not mandatory for you but if you would like to stretch your legs and get a couple of shots taken on you, by all means, you are welcome to attend the on ice portion. **Goalies must bring their own sweater to tryouts please!**
I will be looking for a blend of hard work, energy, heads up hockey and skill during the upcoming sessions. During these sessions, there will be a mix of skills and scrimmage each night. Everyone is guaranteed 2 skates before the first round of cuts.
I know what I am looking for, so show me and my evaluators what you've got!
**Please bring a water bottle to all tryouts.**
