Dan Pulham Memorial Tournament
The Dan Pulham Memorial Tournament saw the Minor Atom Mustangs White
bring it hard Friday with a 5-0 win over Burlington Bulldogs, and a 2-1 win over Grimsby Kings. An early morning game Saturday they came hard and left Argyle with a 5-0 win over their sister team Mustangs Purple, sitting with a 3-0 standing in the Dan Pulham Memorial Tournament, but the White Mustangs had more than the game on the agenda, the team headed off to do some shopping with the generous support of Marshall & Murray Inc. to purchase toys for The Lights and Sirens Toy Drive with Thanks to Team Manager Nena Picken for organizing the on and off ice winners. Their shopping mission completed Mustangs White headed back to the barn for their next game, with a blow out 11-1 over Applewood Coyotes.
In the finals Mustangs White held the lead for the entire game, however in the last 45seconds of play when their rivals pulled their goalie and stacked their lines they tied it up and the game went into Overtime, hard pill to swallow after a 4-0 standing the Mustangs White lost the game but sincerely Congratulate their sister team Mustangs Purple on their win.
With hockey done for the day the Mustangs White pull up their socks headed over to a local grocery store to help with The London Food Bank working alongside Cleveland Brownlee of the London Majors supporting the community with another great cause.
