With tryouts quickly approaching, please make sure you have registered for Mustangs tryouts and completed the Rowan’s Law form.
Tryout Fee
Players that have not paid the tryout fee will not be allowed on the ice. Please refer to the main organization home page for the Purple Mustangs.

Rowan's Law
Before any participant can take part in any activity associated with Jr Mustangs Hockey they must have read the age-appropriate information about Rowan's Law and concussion awareness and have signed the Ontario Hockey Federation acknowledgement form. If they are under 18, a parent must also sign the acknowledgement form.
All players must come to tryout #1 with a signed acknowledgement otherwise they will not be allowed on the ice. No exceptions.

Seeded A/AA hockey
The Junior Mustangs are a A/AA seeded hockey team. All seeded teams within the league (i.e. Sarnia to Burlington) play each other until mid November and then are “seeded” or declared as either an “A” or “AA” level team based on their wins/losses etc. After the “seed”, the teams only play teams that are within their designation:
The AA teams play in the ‘Constellation League'
The A teams play in the ‘Bristol League'

Team Commitment
The schedule has been posted (see Team Calendar) for most of the ‘seeded’ games and 4x tournaments. The first tournament will be the weekend after tryouts! We will be practicing twice a week one 1.5h and one 1h practice. Arena and day to be confirmed.
I will be posting the current tryout list and updating it as we get closer to tryouts. Please ensure your player’s name is listed.
Tryouts
The tryout process can be stressful on everyone. I ensure all players will be evaluated by independent evaluators and given a fair chance to showcase there skills.
