Memorial Tournament in Belle River
Fresh off of the Team Canada win in Detroit, the boys spent last weekend in Belle River at the Memorial Tournament. Day one saw a couple of gritty performances against our Canadian foe. A pair of 2-1 wins made day 1 a roaring success. Day 2 wasn't quite so rosy, as the American teams hit us like a wall(perhaps they were a little unhappy with Canada smashing the USA the week before). Whatever their motivation, they stopped us from advancing to the final. No semis in this tournament, as it was only the top 2 teams moving on. Third place would have to do. No more tournaments until 2025, so we'll wish you all the merriest of Christmas's!
