U11 Purple, Jr Mustangs (London Junior Mustangs)

Our annual Jr. Mustangs Day (Saturday, December 7th) at Thompson Arena was a huge success, both on and off the ice. It was a fun day of competitive hockey with great 'Purple vs White' games played by all of our players within our organization. Our teams also took the initiative to give back to our community, collecting toys for the Salvation Army's Toy Drive, contributing unwrapped toys or New Hats, Mits or Socks.

The U11 Mustangs - Purple participated in Nations Cup in Detroit where we represented Canada vs various American teams. 

GLHA London Jr Mustangs are proud of our new partnership with Heroic Minds (though Alliance Hockey) to offer additional mental health support to U13 and older players in our program this season to help our players be the best possible version of themselves.  We believe that player mental health habits, behaviour, relationships and lifestyle goals are important. Jr Mustangs players and team staff from will have access to the Heroic Minds platform developed by former OHL player Ben Fanelli, who overcame a traumatic brain injury before going on to become OHL and CHL Humanitarian of the Year ...

We want to start by saying once again, thank you to all those who came out to the U11 Mustang tryouts. These last few decisions were VERY difficult to make. We told the players after the last game that they need to be proud of themselves regardless of where they are playing next year. For players on the list, there will be a parent and player meeting Friday night for Purple; refer to your team website for White. Your coach will be in contact with details of the meeting.

Once again,thank you to all those who came out to the U11 Mustang tryouts. There was a lot of talent on display and we appreciate the effort and hard work. The decisions that we have had to make continue to be very difficult. If you are not on one of the lists below you are asked to refer to your local association as in some case B/BB tryouts start next week.Players moving on should arrive to the arena an hour before the game.
