U14 - Minor Bantam, 2021-2022, Gray (London Junior Mustangs)

It was a great way to finish a superb season with an awesome group of Players.  All year this group continued to provide surprises, bounced back from adversity and dealt superbly with cancellations and shutdowns.  The season came to a close with an undefeated run to the Pickering Spring Thaw tournament championship that culminated in a 3 to 0 win over Clarington.  Huge thanks to the families and Players who made this season so special, have a great off season and enjoy the memories.

Friday Night during our 8:30-10pm ice time will bring the return of the Sour Key Cup, the semi annual tradition that sees us split our group into two teams supported by AP's as we scrimmage to a conclusion.  The three 15minute period scrimmage will include questionable refereeing but lots of action and fun.  Rosters for the evening are as follows; (adjustments may have to be made for absences or injuries, injured players are welcome to time keep the event)

Despite the continuing disruptions caused by the pandemic our players have accomplished an extremely difficult feat and successfully achieved a position within the AA loop for the second half of the season.  The accomplishment is even more amazing considering the numerous new additions to the group and the inconsistencies the season has already provided.  This team has already provided numerous surprises and with continued hard work and determination there will be more surprises ahead. Congrats to all our Players, keep up the great work.

A week ago this group was left battered, short handed by injury and lacking an identity.   7 Days later this same group played their strongest period of the season, dominated play and left the Railway City with some new bling and an appreciation of what they can accomplish when they work as a team.   Great Job Mustangs. 2021-22 Boston Pizza Cup Champions 

Huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Card Box Fundraiser.  Who would have expected such an awesome result, collectively the team sold 201 boxes and raised $2,211.00 in support of the Players this upcoming season.  Special thank you to Lori Gicante for organizing and her initiative.  The Players greatly appreciate the support.
