The Oakville Rangers Winter Classic by BarDown is the largest hockey tournament in Canada (335 teams, playing 777 games at 19 arenas on 34 ice pads in 54 hours) and 8 Junior Mustangs teams (50% of our players) represented our organization and City very well this past weekend.
Congratulations to U13 Purple and U15 Purple on winning their respective A Division Championships.
All 8 of our teams competed strong and every team had a winning record. Several teams made it to the final rounds on Sunday - with two Purple vs White Sunday games! U10 Purple got by U10 White in the Semis and just fell short in the finals while U12 Purple scored
in the 3v3 Overtime to best U12 White in their Quarter-Finals match.
A fun time was had by all and the players got to experience The Hockey Hall of Fame exhibits, hockey village and interactive games. All players received BarDown swag.
