Atom, Atom, 2014-2015, Purple (London Junior Mustangs)

Congratulations to coach Rob Griffiths and his London Jr. Mustangs Major Atom (Purple) team for collecting a record-breaking 4,654 lbs of food for the London Food Bank as part of the "Coach4Food" campaign! We are so proud of how hard you all worked individually and, more importantly, together as a team to help those in your community who not only cannot afford to play hockey but cannot afford to eat. Everyone knows you can always count on hockey players to make a difference! We hope you enjoyed your well-deserved reward of a practice with the London Knights at Bud Gardens.

Congratulations to the Jr. Mustangs Purple Atom Team for winning the Newmarket Atom A Tournament. The boys battled hard going a perfect 4-0 en route to the tournament championship where they beat the Aurora Tigers 2-1 in hard fought game. Another great weekend of team building in Newmarket. Way to go boys, "Love Purple!"

There will be a mandatory parent/guardian meeting next Thursday, May 29th, 7 pm at the Western Fair Arena, in the Delta Room. We would like to thank all of the players for their hard work and dedication over the duration of the tryouts. We were forced to make many difficult decisions, and unfortunately, we can only carry fifteen skaters and two goalies. I would like to thank all of those who helped with evaluations, games and tryouts. This was not an easy process.
