U12 - Minor PeeWee, 2022-2023, Purple (London Junior Mustangs)

The u12 Jr Mustangs Purple completed a fun and successful weekend on and off the ice by winning the Championship in the Oakville Rangers Bardown Winter Classic u12 A division. This is one of the biggest tournaments in Ontario this year with 300 teams at all ages and levels participating; including 12 teams from all over Ontario in our division. The Hockey Hall of fame exhibit on the final day which included the Stanley Cup was a highlight.

The u12 Jr. Mustangs Purple along with friends and family took a road tour to beautiful Little Casers Arena to see the Detroit Red Wings play the Toronto Maple Leafs on January 12. Everyone enjoyed the trip down on the 2 Coach buses. In the arena, the kids got to  watch the warmups by the glass and enjoyed the wide variety of food options for dinner. 

The U12 JMP participated in the CCM Nations Cup AA/A tournament this past weekend in Troy, Michigan.   This is a big tournament with 12 Canadian and 12 USA teams for 24 total teams in the 2011 AA/A division. All Canadian teams wore sharp Team Canada jerseys & socks, while playing USA teams in all games. The boys had fun selecting 'superstar' numbers for their custom personalized jerseys. The team was challenged with a tough initial draw; playing 4 very strong AA USA teams, competing hard and playing great hockey against these Clubs.   Finishing 5th seed out of the 12 Canadian teams ...

The U12 Jr Mustangs Purple's season is off to a fantastic start. The team is having a great time on and off the ice and is coming together. The boys are growing as players and learning new concepts and tactics while playing hard. We are fortunate to have many generous sponsors like the new Burger King restaurant on Wonderland Road at Sherwood Forest Mall, around the corner from our home rink Medway arena.
