Grimsby Tournament Champions
This past weekend the Jr Mustangs White Minor Peewee team traveled to Grimsby in their first tournament of the year. The team looked great right out of the gate with a convincing 4-0 victory over Whitby. They followed that up with a strong showing against Burlington but fell 4-3. The Mustangs regrouped and beat host Grimsby in the quarters 3-2 and then a come from behind 4-3 victory in the semis versus Oakville. This set up a rematch with Burlington in the final and the team had their revenge in a solid 2-0 win to win the tournament.
The coaches were impressed with the hard work and determination throughout the weekend. Great start to the season boys!
