Mustangs Do It Again
After losing in the semi-finals in the Barrie Tournament, the Jr Mustangs refocused and looked to put together another good run in the Dan Pulham Bandits Tourney in London this past weekend. It was an exciting start with their first game being played at Bud Gardens.
Overall, the team went 3-0 in pool play downing their opposition by a combined score of 19-4 and finished first in their division. The team then met up with Eastview in the semi-finals and booked their ticket to the tournament final with a 4-1 victory. In the championship game, the Mustangs took on the Cambridge Hawks and continued their strong play with a convincing 7-3 win and took home a tournament championship for the second time this year.
